Have you ever wanted to sit down at the dinner table of a real Moroccan family and eat a home-made tajine, or to be invited for a “crepes party” at the house of French people? Well, Michael, our host, has always wanted to and he does it – for real!
This francophile anglophone invites himself to the private kitchens and homes of people from the diverse Toronto French-speaking community to cook and chat.
Through our private home incursions, you will not only get to witness how each family cooks their favourite dish, but you’ll get to know their story. The conversations and moments that our host shares with each family, create each episode’s very own narrative. À la Bonne Franquette is very human, full of humour and focuses on the special moments shared around food.
